Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Commissioner may apply to the Supreme Court for a control order in relation to a specified person if the Commissioner reasonably believes there is a ground for making a control order in relation to the person.
(2) The grounds of the application must be verified by:
(a) an affidavit from the Commissioner; or
(b) affidavits from 1 or more other senior police officers.
