Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person from whom a sample of saliva has been taken under this Part may request the authorised analyst to whom or which the sample has been sent to provide a portion of the sample, at the person's own expense, to a medical practitioner or laboratory nominated by the person.
(2) A request under subsection (1) must be made within 6 months of the person being served with an infringement notice or a summons for an offence in relation to which the sample was taken.
