Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Before obtaining the consent of a person for a provision of this Part, an authorised officer must inform the person that the person may refuse to give consent.
(2) An entry by or the exercise of any power under this Part by an authorised officer as a result of a person's consent is not lawful unless the person voluntarily gave the consent.
(3) Consent may be withdrawn after it has been given, and the power concerned must no longer be exercised.
