Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated RegulationsA category A firearm or category B firearm must be stored in accordance with the following requirements:
(a) when the firearm is not actually being used or carried, it must be stored in a locked receptacle that complies with the requirements specified in Schedule 2;
(b) if the receptacle weighs less than 150 kg when empty, it must be fixed to a wall or floor in a manner that prevents its easy removal.
