Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations(1) The Court may determine the remuneration of a referee and by what party or parties and in what proportion the remuneration is to be paid either in the first instance or finally.
(2) The Court may order a party to give security for the remuneration of a referee.
(3) The Court may order that the proceeding be stayed until an order made under subrule (2) is complied with.
(4) This rule, with the necessary changes, also applies to a reference under an Act.
