Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations(1) Personal service of a document is effected by leaving a copy of the document with the person to be served or, if he does not accept the copy, by putting the copy down in his presence and telling him the nature of the document.
(2) In the case of originating process, the copy for service shall be sealed in accordance with rule 5.11(3).
(3) To effect personal service it shall not be necessary to show the original document.
