Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations(1) The council may, by notice in a newspaper circulating in the municipality, temporarily close a road or a part of a road vested in it for the purposes of holding a procession, parade, display or public entertainment.
(2) A closure under clause (1) shall not exceed 48 hours.
(3) A person shall not without the permission of the clerk use a road whilst it is closed under clause (1).
