(1) If the registrar is satisfied that a breach of a registration requirement or a condition of the registration has occurred in relation to a registered non-Government school, the registrar may:
(a) vary the registration of the school; or
(b) suspend the registration of the school; or
(c) cancel the registration of the school.
(2) Before taking an action under subsection (1), the registrar must:
(a) notify the school's governing body of the proposed action and of its grounds; and
(b) allow the governing body a reasonable opportunity to make representations about the proposed action within a reasonable period that is specified in the notice.
