Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) The proprietor of a registered business must give the CHO written notice of a change in any of the following within 14 days after the change occurs:
(a) the proprietor's name or address;
(b) the name of the business;
(c) the address of the place where the business is conducted;
(d) the name or address of a mobile operator for the business.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
(3) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (1) if the defendant establishes a reasonable excuse.
