Section 16

repeal, insert

16     Functions of Port Corporation

Subject to section 15 and to any direction of the Chief Minister under section 13 of the Port of Darwin Act , the functions of the Port Corporation are:

    (a)     to hold shares in any body corporate or units in any unit trust that it has formed or in the formation of which it has participated; and

    (b)     to hold any assets, rights and liabilities as defined in section 3(1) of the Port of Darwin Act ; and

    (c)     to employ or engage any persons.
