Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) An agreement, whether oral or in writing, relating to an unlawful wager is void and has no effect.
(2) No action or proceeding may be commenced or maintained to recover money or other valuable thing that is:
(a) won on an unlawful wager; or
(b) deposited with a person to abide the contingency on which an unlawful wager was made.
