Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) If a race meeting starts and the race club conducting that meeting postpones or abandons the whole or part of the race meeting, the race club may allow wagering with licensees or investments in totalisators under the Totalisator Licensing and Regulation Act 2000 to continue at the race club's premises in respect of events to be decided at other racecourses.
(2) The wagering and investment may be allowed to continue only during the time that wagering and investment would otherwise be permitted.
