An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the
consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and
parliamentary service for the financial years starting 1 July
2013 and 1 July 2014

The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1
1 Short title 2
This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 3
2013. 4
Note-- 5
Under the Financial Accountability Act 2009, section 5, words used in 6
this Act that are defined under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 7
have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary 8
intention in this Act. 9
2 Appropriation for 2013-2014 10
(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $75 421 000 from the 11
consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and 12
parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 13
2013. 14
(2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) is appropriated for 15
the financial year for the Legislative Assembly and 16
parliamentary service for application to its departmental 17
services, equity adjustment and administered items as stated 18
in schedule 1. 19
(3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount 20
already authorised by the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 21
2012, section 3, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 22
2013. 23
3 Supply for 2014-2015 24
The Treasurer is authorised to pay $37 711 000 from the 25
consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and 26
parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 27
2014. 28
