Act’s vicarious liability purpose and how it is to be achieved
132 Act’s vicarious liability purpose and how it is to be achieved
(1) One of the purposes of the Act is to promote equality of opportunity for
everyone by making a person liable for certain acts of the person’s workers
or agents.
(2) This purpose is to be achieved by making a person civilly
liable for a contravention of the Act by the person’s workers or agents.
