ADOPTION ACT 2009 - SECT 35
Application for dispensation
35 Application for dispensation
(1) The chief executive, or a person who has made an application to the chief
executive under part 5 , may apply to the Childrens Court for an order
dispensing with the need for the consent of a stated parent of the child (the
"relevant parent" ) to the child’s adoption.
(2) The application must state
the grounds on which it is made.
