Appointment of contract auditors
43 Appointment of contract auditors
(1) The auditor-general may appoint an appropriately qualified individual who
is not a member of the staff of the audit office to be a contract auditor.
(2) The appointment of a person to be a contract auditor may be general or
limited to a particular audit.
(3) The contract auditor— (a) is appointed
on the terms stated in the instrument of appointment; and
(b) may resign the
appointment by signed notice given to the auditor-general.
