AUDITOR-GENERAL ACT 2009 - SECT 89
Duration of appointment of auditor-general not affected
89 Duration of appointment of auditor-general not affected
(1) This section applies to the appointment of the auditor-general that was in
force immediately before the replacement of section 10 by the Parliamentary
Service and Other Acts Amendment Act 2011 .
(2) The appointment continues in
force until the end of the term stated in the auditor-general’s instrument
of appointment or the appointment otherwise ends under this Act.
(3) The
person holding the appointment can not be reappointed under section 10.
