ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMUNITIES (JUSTICE, LAND AND OTHER MATTERS) ACT 1984 - SECT 91
Appeals
91 Appeals
(1) Subsection (2) applies if— (a) a person has appealed to a Magistrates
Court, under section 38 of the pre-amended Act, against an
appealable decision; and
(b) the appeal has not been decided before the
commencement.
(2) The appeal lapses on the commencement.
(3) Subsection (4)
applies if— (a) immediately before the commencement a person could have
appealed to a Magistrates Court, under section 38 of the pre-amended Act,
against an appealable decision; and
(b) the person has not appealed before
the commencement.
(4) The person may not appeal against the decision.
