ANIMAL MANAGEMENT (CATS AND DOGS) ACT 2008 - SECT 140A
Power to require information
(1) This section applies if an authorised person reasonably believes— (a) an
offence against this Act has been committed; and
(b) a person may be able to
give information about the offence.
(2) The authorised person may, by notice
given to the person, require the person to give the authorised person
information related to the offence by a stated reasonable time.
(3) For
information that is an electronic document, compliance with the requirement
requires the giving of a clear image or written version of the electronic
document.
(4) In this section—
"information" includes a document.
