214 Existing obligations to report serious breaches
(1) This section applies if— (a) before the commencement, an auditor was
required to notify the commissioner of a belief about a circumstance under
former 57C; and
(b) immediately before the commencement, the auditor had not
yet notified the commissioner.
(2) For the purposes of the notification,
former section 57C continues to apply as if the amendment Act had not been
enacted.
(3) However, if the review of the trust account in relation to which
the notification requirement arose had not been completed immediately before
the commencement— (a) subsection (2) does not apply; and
(b) section 57C as
in force after the commencement applies to the auditor in relation to the
review.
