Chief executive officer may issue direction about commission’s corruption function about complaints
35A Chief executive officer may issue direction about commission’s
corruption function about complaints
(1) The chief executive officer may issue a direction about how commission
officers are to decide whether a complaint involves, or may involve, a more
serious case of corrupt conduct or a case of systemic corrupt conduct within a
unit of public administration.
(2) In issuing a direction under subsection
(1) , the chief executive officer is subject to the direction and control of
the chairperson.
(3) A commission officer must comply with a direction issued
under subsection (1) .
