Directions about advertising
102 Directions about advertising
(1) If the chief executive reasonably believes a person has published an
advertisement for a game that does not comply with section 101 , the chief
executive may direct the person to take appropriate steps to— (a) stop the
advertisement being shown or published; or
(b) change the advertisement.
(2)
The direction must— (a) be written; and
(b) state the grounds for the
direction; and
(c) if the direction is a direction to change the
advertisement—state how the advertisement is required to be changed.
(3)
The person must comply with the direction, unless the person has a reasonable
excuse for not complying with it. Penalty— Maximum penalty for
subsection (3) —50 penalty units.
