CRIMINAL CODE 1899 - SECT 678J
Bail
678J Bail
(1) This section has effect despite anything to the contrary in the
Bail Act 1980 .
(2) There is a presumption in favour of bail for a person who
is charged with an offence for which a retrial is sought under this chapter
until the application for the retrial is dealt with.
