CLASSIFICATION OF FILMS ACT 1991 - SECT 64

64 Certain classified films not indecent or obscene

(1) A classified film is not an indecent or obscene publication for the purposes of the Criminal Code.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a film classified X 18+ or RC.

(3) Also, to the extent a film is subject to a conditional cultural exemption in relation to a relevant showing, the film is not indecent or obscene material for the purposes of the Criminal Code .
