14A Statements made by witness not admissible in evidence against the witness
(1) A statement or disclosure made by any witness in answer to any question
put to the witness by a commission or any commissioner or before a commission
shall not (except in proceedings in respect of contempt of the commission or
of an offence, or a conspiracy by the witness with another person to commit an
offence, against any of the sections of the Criminal Code specified in section
(22 ) be admissible in evidence against the witness in any civil or criminal
proceedings.
(2) A book, document, writing, record, property or anything
produced by a witness is not and it is declared never was a statement or
disclosure to which subsection (1) applies.
