CHILD PROTECTION ACT 1999 - SECT 148BD
Withdrawal by prescribed delegate
148BD Withdrawal by prescribed delegate
(1) A prescribed delegate for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child
may, at any time, withdraw the person’s acceptance of the delegation by
giving the chief executive written notice of the withdrawal.
(2) If the
prescribed delegate gives the chief executive notice under subsection (1) ,
the delegation ends.
(3) The delegation ends under subsection (2) on the
later of the following— (a) the day the notice is given to the chief
executive;
(b) a later day stated in the notice.
(4) The chief executive
must record— (a) the notice given under subsection (1) ; and
(b) the day on
which the delegation ends.
