CHILD PROTECTION ACT 1999 - SECT 167
Offence for person to take child out of State
167 Offence for person to take child out of State
A person who has the care of a child in the chief executive’s custody or
guardianship must not take or keep the child out of the State with the
intention of obstructing, preventing or defeating the administration or
enforcement of this Act.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—150 penalty units
or 18 months imprisonment.
