CHILD PROTECTION ACT 1999 - SECT 99ZJ
What happens if decision not given effect etc.
99ZJ What happens if decision not given effect etc.
(1) This section applies if the president, after considering the response of
the chief executive given under section 99ZI , is of the opinion that— (a)
the tribunal’s decision has not been given effect; or
(b) no steps have
been taken to give effect to the tribunal’s recommendations or the steps
taken are inadequate or inappropriate.
(2) The president may report on the
matter to the Minister responsible for the department.
(3) The president must
attach the following to the report— (a) if the report is about the
tribunal’s decision—copies of the decision and response;
(b) if the
report is about the tribunal’s recommendations—copies of the
recommendations and response.
