CIVIL PROCEEDINGS ACT 2011 - SECT 57
Noncompliance is contempt of court
57 Noncompliance is contempt of court
(1) Failure to comply with a subpoena without lawful excuse is contempt of
court and a person who fails to comply may be dealt with for contempt of
court.
(2) Nothing in section 55 or 56 affects a court’s power to punish
for contempt.
