Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsThe Governor in Council may declare a part of the Cape York Peninsula Region to be an indigenous community use area only if—
(a) the landholder for the land the subject of the declaration has asked the vegetation management Minister, in writing, for the declaration to be made; and
(b) the vegetation management Minister—(i) has complied with section 15 (1) ; and(ii) is satisfied that the land has the potential to support agricultural, animal husbandry, aquacultural or grazing activities.
