DOMESTIC AND FAMILY VIOLENCE PROTECTION ACT 2012 - SECT 77
Applicant must disclose family law order
77 Applicant must disclose family law order
(1) This section applies to a person who— (a) applies to a court for a
domestic violence order or a variation of a domestic violence order; and
(b)
is aware of a family law order.
(2) The person must— (a) inform the court
about the family law order; and
(b) if the person has a copy of the order,
give a copy of the order to the court.
(3) Failure to comply with subsection
(2) does not invalidate or otherwise affect an application for a
domestic violence order or an application for a variation of a
domestic violence order.
