Application for licence
41 Application for licence
(1) An applicant for a licence must— (a) apply to the chief executive in the
approved form; and
(b) state the term of the licence being applied for; and
(c) establish the applicant’s eligibility for a licence; and
(d) state the
names and addresses of the applicant’s business associates; and
(e) provide
any information the chief executive reasonably requires to decide whether the
applicant is a suitable person to hold a licence.
(2) The application must be
accompanied by— (a) the application fee prescribed under a regulation; and
(b) the licence issue fee prescribed under a regulation; and
(c) if, before
or when the application is made, a criminal history costs requirement is made
of the applicant—the amount of the costs required to be paid; and
(d) for
an applicant who is an individual, 2 recent colour photographs of the
applicant of a size prescribed under a regulation and certified as photographs
of the applicant in the way prescribed under a regulation.
(3) The chief
executive may, by written notice given to the applicant, require the applicant
to give the chief executive within a stated reasonable period information or
material the chief executive reasonably believes is needed to consider the
application.
(4) An applicant is taken to have withdrawn the application if
the applicant fails to comply with a requirement made under subsection (3) .
