Chief executive may restore or refuse to restore licence
58 Chief executive may restore or refuse to restore licence
(1) The chief executive must consider the application for restoration and may
restore or refuse to restore the licence.
(2) The chief executive may restore
the licence only if the chief executive is satisfied— (a) the applicant is a
suitable person to hold a licence and, if the applicant carries on, or intends
to carry on, a regulated business with others, each person with whom the
applicant carries on, or intends to carry on, the business, is a suitable
person to hold a licence; and
(b) the applicant is eligible to hold the
licence; and
(c) the application complies with section 57 .
(3) If the chief
executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must give the
applicant an information notice about the decision within 14 days after the
decision is made.
