206 Who is eligible for provisional registration or registration

A child is eligible for provisional registration, or registration, for home education if the child will be—

(a) at least 5 years and 6 months on 31 December in the year the provisional registration, or registration, takes effect; and

(b) less than 18 years on 31 December in the year the provisional registration, or registration, takes effect.
