FAMILY AND CHILD COMMISSION ACT 2014 - SECT 29ZD
Members must disclose new convictions
29ZD Members must disclose new convictions
(1) This section applies if a person is convicted of an indictable offence
during the term of the person’s appointment as a board member.
(2) The
person must immediately give notice of the conviction to the Minister under
this section, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty—
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
(3) The notice must include— (a) the
existence of the conviction; and
(b) when the offence was committed; and
(c)
details adequate to identify the offence; and
(d) the sentence imposed on the
person.
