Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsA person shall not, for the purpose of inducing another person to enter into a contract or an arrangement with a registered corporation, make a statement that the person knows to be false in a material particular or that is misleading, in relation to—
(a) the conditions of entering into a contract or an arrangement with the registered corporation; or
(b) the services or benefits that will be provided by the registered corporation; or
(c) the terms and conditions under which services or benefits may be obtained from the registered corporation.
Penalty—Maximum penalty—6 penalty units.
