Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsAn enforcement action suspension certificate for a farm mortgage ends on the earlier of the following days—
(a) if the farmer and the mortgagee took part in mediation for the farm business debt and the mediation was satisfactory—the last day of the mediation;
(b) otherwise—the day that is 6 months after—(i) if the mortgagee gave the farmer a notice refusing the mediation—the notice was given; or(ii) otherwise—the day that is 15 business days after the farmer gave the request for mediation notice to the mortgagee.
Note—While an enforcement action suspension certificate is in force for a farm mortgage the mortgagee may not take enforcement action. See section 12 (1) .
