Attempts to commit offences
92B Attempts to commit offences
(1) A person who attempts to commit an offence mentioned in subsection (2)
commits an offence. Penalty— Maximum penalty—the maximum penalty for
committing the offence attempted.
(2) Subsection (1) applies to an offence
against any of the following provisions— (a) a provision of the
Australian Consumer Law (Queensland), chapter 4 ;
(b) an
FTA consumer offence provision;
(c) section 45 .
(3) The Criminal Code ,
section 4 , applies to subsection (1) .
(4) A person charged with an offence
mentioned in subsection (2) may be convicted of attempting to commit the
offence.
