256 Power to apply to court for compensation for loss of benefit in estate
because of committee
(1) If a person’s benefit in an adult’s estate under the adult’s will,
on intestacy, or by another disposition taking effect on the adult’s death,
is lost because of a sale or other dealing with the adult’s property by a
committee of the adult, section 60 applies as if references in the section to
an administrator were references to the committee.
(2) Subsection (1) applies
whether the sale or other dealing happens before or after the commencement of
this section.
