GEOTHERMAL ENERGY ACT 2010 - SECT 48
Water issues
48 Water issues
(1) The proposed work program must include an assessment
of— (a) water needed for the proposed activities; and
(b) the potential for
obtaining any relevant Water Act authorisation; and
(c) the potential
structural and other impacts of the carrying out of the proposed activities on
aquifers.
(2) The proposed program must include a plan for the treatment and
disposal of any water taken or that may be taken because of the proposed
activities.
(3) This section is subject to section 52 (2) .
