Confidential information must not be disclosed by designated persons
142 Confidential information must not be disclosed by designated persons
(1) A designated person must not disclose, directly or indirectly,
confidential information to another person unless the disclosure is required
or permitted under this Act. Penalty— Maximum penalty—100 penalty
units.
(2) For subsection (1) , another person includes another designated
person or a prescribed health professional.
(3) Subsection (1) applies even
if the person who could be identified from the disclosure of confidential
information is deceased.
