166 Directions about advertising
(1) If the chief executive reasonably believes an advertisement about an
authorised game does not comply with section 165 , the chief executive may
direct the person appearing to be responsible for authorising the
advertisement to take the appropriate steps— (a) to stop the advertisement
being shown; or
(b) to change the advertisement.
(2) The direction must—
(a) be in writing; and
(b) state the grounds for the direction; and
(c) if
it is a direction to change the advertisement—state how the advertisement is
to be changed.
(3) A person to whom a direction is given must comply with the
direction, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty— Maximum
penalty for subsection (3) —40 penalty units.
