INTERACTIVE GAMBLING (PLAYER PROTECTION) ACT 1998 - SECT 248
Attempts to commit offences
248 Attempts to commit offences
(1) A person who attempts to commit an offence against this Act commits an
offence.
(2) The maximum penalty for an attempt is one-half the maximum
penalty for the completed offence.
(3) The Criminal Code, section 4 applies
to subsection (1) .
