Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsA civil proceeding for defamation does not lie against any of the following entities for printing or publishing a document for an amalgamation ballot or withdrawal ballot—
(a) the State;
(b) the electoral commission;
(c) an electoral officer;
(d) another person who may, under this chapter, conduct the ballot;
(e) a person asked to act for, or at the direction of, an entity mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (d) .
