Change of annual general meeting
107 Change of annual general meeting
(1) The primary thoroughfare body corporate may apply in writing to the
Minister for approval to change the date of its next annual general meeting.
(2) The primary thoroughfare body corporate may apply to the Minister to
change the date of its next annual general meeting only if— (a) the change
of date proposed has been set out in a motion given to its members; and
(b)
the motion for the proposed change of date has been carried by ordinary
resolution of the body corporate.
(3) The application to the Minister must be
accompanied by— (a) a copy of the motion; and
(b) evidence that it has been
carried by ordinary resolution.
(4) The Minister may approve or refuse the
application and must advise the primary thoroughfare body corporate in writing
of the approval or refusal.
(5) If the application is approved, the new date
of the annual general meeting is taken to be the anniversary of the first
annual general meeting of the primary thoroughfare body corporate.
