Regulation-making power
40 Regulation-making power
(1) The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.
(2) A
regulation may be made about— (a) preventing or suppressing improper or
undesirable practices relating to the performance of functions by justices of
the peace or commissioners for declarations; or
(b) imposing requirements
upon justices of the peace or commissioners for declarations; or
(c)
prescribing fees payable in connection with the administration of this Act.
(3) The regulations may provide for offences punishable by penalties not
exceeding 20 penalty units.
