LABOUR HIRE LICENSING ACT 2017 - SECT 24
Cancellation
24 Cancellation
(1) After complying with section 23 , the chief executive may cancel the
licensee’s licence by giving the licensee an information notice for the
cancellation, if the chief executive is satisfied— (a) the licensee, or an
employee or representative of the licensee, has contravened a condition of the
licence; or
(b) the licensee, or an employee or representative of the
licensee, has contravened a relevant law, whether or not the licensee,
employee or representative has been convicted of an offence for the
contravention; or
(c) the licensee is no longer a fit and proper person to
provide labour hire services; or
(d) if the licensee is an individual—the
licensee is an insolvent under administration; or
(e) if the licensee is a
corporation—the licensee has been wound up or deregistered under the
Corporations Act .
(2) The cancellation takes effect on the day stated in the
information notice.
