Example—This Act often refers to a law of this jurisdiction, including this Act. Under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 7 , the reference to a law includes a reference to statutory instruments made or in force under the law. Accordingly, a reference to this Act includes, for example, a regulation or legal profession rules made or in force under this Act.
