Restriction on making further applications
195 Restriction on making further applications
(1) If the law society decides under this division to cancel a person’s
registration, the law society may also decide that the person is not entitled
to apply for registration under this part for a stated period of not more than
5 years.
(2) A person in relation to whom a decision has been made under this
section, or under a provision of a corresponding law that corresponds to this
section, is not entitled to apply for registration under this part during the
period stated in the decision.
(3) If the law society makes a decision under
this section— (a) the law society must give the person an information notice
about the decision; and
(b) the person may apply, as provided under the QCAT
Act , to the tribunal for a review of the decision.
