LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2007 - SECT 23
Part does not apply to a person if authorised under a Commonwealth law or a government legal officer
23 Part does not apply to a person if authorised under a Commonwealth law or a
government legal officer
(1) This part does not apply to— (a) a person authorised to engage in legal
practice under a law of the Commonwealth; or
(b) a government legal officer
engaged in government work.
(2) However, subsection (1) does not prevent this
part applying to a person only because the person has been enrolled as a
barrister or solicitor, as a barrister and solicitor or as a legal
practitioner, of the High Court of Australia.
